On Thursday we were invited to The Strand Hotel in NYC to sample the cuisine of Chef Kelvin Fernandez. In general, hotel food is not that fantastic, but this night, oh yes my friends, it was! Chef Kelvin cooks from the heart with passion and love, which is reflected in his beautiful and delicious food. Course after course Chef Kelvin wowed us with textures, bold flavors, perfect balance and skills way beyond his years. This is pure talent and a chef to watch out for.
