From elementary school students to seasoned professionals, 233 Photography Club has members from all walks of life.
World-traveling photographer Yoshitaka Goto (Gocchin-san), a Lomographer from Gifu Prefecture, is also a member of the 233 Photography Club.
The strange and fanciful photos that Gocchin-san comes out with are produced with a Lomography film camera using multiple exposures.
The fantastic world created using accessories that allow only a portion of light to pass through the lens; and techniques such as exposing a half frame of film at a time or cross-processing effects (developing positive film in negative film developing solution) really give you an appreciation of the “power of analog”.
The superimposition of one reality on another creates a feeling of unreality.
Allowing the imagination free hand when manipulating light makes photography all the more fun.
