Today I took photos of the ocean.
This photo was taken in the moments before sunrise, when the sun’s rays start spilling over the edge of the horizon little by little, in the transition from night to morning. The sky’s color gradient is reflected on the sand still wet from the waves lapping up onto it.
If you go to the harbour early, you can see the tuna auction. The shop floor filled with frozen tuna is abuzz with people sizing them up.
From midday, the beach comes alive with sunbathers. Even when using an umbrella, you still feel the glare of the sun beating down on the beach.
The morning’s orange rays gradually color up the sky and the ocean, creating a splendid backdrop for early morning fishers.
The discussion of photography in this blog focused on ocean scenery. However, as you can see, there are many other fine subjects for photos , including surfers heading out to sea, cafes fronting the ocean, etc. Summer’s not over yet, so now’s the time go out and snap all of this up.
