Today, we’re thrilled to introduce you our review about the second perfect image editing app for quick & easy editing with plenty of filter and lighting options:
AfterLight was created by photographer Simon Filip as Afterglow, but was renamed for legal reasons. Whatever you choose to call it, it’s a great photo editing app.
While you won’t find any extreme effects among its options, AfterLight excels at subtle, film-like effects. At the bottom of the interface, you’ll find buttons for most standard actions like adding filters, tweaking saturation and contrast, cropping and rotating, as well as adding additional effects like simulated light leaks.
While Afterlight was primarily designed to be used in concert with Instagram, it now also has several other options for exporting your work, including Facebook, Twitter, email. You can even send the edited image to other supported apps on your phone for further editing.
Filip continues to update the app regularly, and also periodically adds “guest filters” created by others to the list of options AfterLight offers, ensuring that this great app will only continue to get better.
Tomorrow, the third best app for Iphone photography! Stay tuned!
